Hello My name is Michelle Sims. I am a Clarksville native and product of the Clarksville Montgomery County School System. I have a Bachelor's Degree from Austin Peay State University and a Master's from Walden University. I previously taught kindergarten for over twenty years with CMCSS and preschool, kindergarten and first grade in a private school. I am so happy to be teaching 1st grade at East Montgomery Elementary School. I love teaching young, eager first graders to develop a love for reading! It is my joy to help them become independent, self-directed learners. I am looking forward to working with a fabulous staff, wonderful parents and sweet students at EMES!!
